Scope of Services to be Performed: Responsible for monitoring the organization’s personnel and information security programs, to include conducting security violation investigations, access justification management, determination of security eligibility, issuing Nondisclosure Agreements (NDAs), security indoctrination and debriefings, permanent/visit certifications, courier requirements, and travel briefings. Perform a variety of additional duties related to the information security program, personnel security program, physical security program and automation security program such as best security practices briefing, security container maintenance and combination monitoring, foreign travel briefings and regular security refresher briefings. Responsible for physical security program, to include access control (issuing badges for permanent and visitor personnel) and alarm response monitoring. Receive, review and process requests for investigations, security clearances and reports of unfavorable/derogatory information. Review reports for accuracy and completeness of the information provided and cross-reference the reports with existing security-related information to ensure relevant, potential derogatory information is properly listed. Perform a preliminary check of available databases and information and make an initial determination of suitability for assignment. Use judgment and knowledge of regulations to determine appropriate courses of action and make educated and regulatory recommendations to the commander. Recommend appropriate actions to be taken with regard to the individuals that have access to classified information that have been involved in an incident/offense which is considered derogatory in nature, according to the appropriate regulations. Verify the status of personnel security investigations and complete the proper paperwork to issue interim clearances. Assist in the control and management of information controlled under the Special Access Program (SAP) and assist in the establishment and enforcement of internal SAP security policies and procedures. Responsible for assisting in the maintenance and input of data into the SAP management database and security clearance database. Maintain various automated databases to track and support security information and customer requirements. Review incoming/outgoing correspondence to ensure consistency with organizational security procedures. Advise on appropriate classification and handling requirements.


Must possess a high school diploma; while associate and bachelor’s degrees are preferred

• Must possess at least 3 years of related security experience

• Must possess at least 2 years’ experience within the Intelligence Community and with Department of Defense Security processes and procedures
• Must be a U.S Citizen
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work in fast-paced, highly visible position while dealing with customers at all levels are highly desirable
